NOVEMBER COMING FIRE PROJECT City Of Dis Studios – Kent – England.

Record producer Ben Phillips chose Cyclone for 5-piece rock act November Coming Fire and their debut album ‘Dungeness’ out in February 2006 on Reflections Records.

After the success of their MCD/7” ‘Black Ballads’ on Speedowax Records November Coming Fire were picked up earlier this year by the well respected label Reflection Records based in The Netherlands.

For the last 6 months of 2005 the band were in and out of the studio recording and mixing twelve tracks. In an attempt to break away from the tried and tested ‘hardcore’ sound we’ve taken an experimental approach to the recording of this album using a lot of ambient sounds, vintage guitar amps and distant stereo microphone configurations. As a result the record could perhaps be best described as sounding like post rock band ‘Hotsnakes’ playing huge and sometimes epic hardcore songs.

All tracks mastered at Cyclone – Dec 2005

What people say

What a fantastic job you did on our CD. Not only did you significantly enhance the recorded material but also your expertise and guidance on the artwork has been a huge factor in our sales. From the outset it was obvious that you take enormous pride in what you are doing and it was such a pleasure to deal with a company committed to helping us achieve such an exceptional end result.

David Green - Musical Director Ashford Guitar Ensemble

Many thanks for the artwork proofs, and for the test CD, both received this afternoon. The artwork is fine, and the CD is a wonderful surprise! Once again you've transformed the sound - quite frankly they sound like a different choir !! Thanks for all your efforts
